August 13, 2024 | Town Admin Town of Sutton Pillsbury Memorial Hall 93 Main St Sutton Mills NH 03221 Ad Hoc Website Committee Meeting Minutes June 26th, 2024, 6pm Julia Jones, Town Administrator, opened the meeting at 6:00pm. The Town Administrator was joined by fellow members of the committee, including Donna Catanzaro, Joe Burns, Crispin Fletcher, and Kim Ortakales. After a round of introductions, the Committee reviewed a memo dated June 26th, 2024, from the Town Administrator regarding communications and compliance with NH RSA 91-A. The Town Administrator shared the following results from an informal survey of 100 NH municipal websites: Of the 100 municipal websites in the sample, 77 listed website designers or platforms. Of the 77 municipal websites that listed website designers or platforms, 67% were designed and built by CivicPlus. Eight percent were designed and built using WordPress. Five percent were designed and built by Catalis. The Town Administrator shared three proposals prepared by CivicPlus, Catalis, and Revise to design, build, and support a new website for the Town of Sutton. The Committee agreed to review these proposals and explore some of the websites they have designed for NH municipalities. Committee members shared their availability to serve on the website committee, and their goals for the website. The Committee discussed roles and responsibilities related to minutes, coordination, public presentation, and communication. Kim Ortakales volunteered to record minutes and Joe Burns offered to deliver public presentations. The Committee established e-mail as the preferred mode of communication. The Committee agreed to meet on a biweekly basis for now, with their next meeting scheduled for Wednesday, July 10th, 2024. There being no further business the meeting was adjourned at 7:15pm.
